Explain why hydrochloric acid is a strong acid and acetic acid a weak acid,how it can be verified?​

The ACIDITY is measured by the number of hydrogen IONS an acid releases on being dissolved in water. Thus, HCl is considered to be a STRONG acid as it has higher number of hydrogen ions, whereas ACETIC acid contains very LITTLE number of hydrogen ions so it is considered as a weak acid.
