Answer» tion:The molecules of the solid are TIGHTLY PACKED . Because of that the molecules could not move and that is why it becomes rigid and has a FIXED shape.Whereas , the molecules present in LIQUIDS and gases have a more interparticular SPACE and the molecules present in it move more freely than solids . That is why the liquids and gases do not have a fixed shape . |
