Farmers do not add nitrogenous fertilizers in the soil in leguminous plants why? |
|
Answer» ANSWER : Because leguminous plants have certain BACTERIA known as rhibozium in their roots nodules which convert the atmospheric nitrogen into nitrogenic compounds which can be further used by plants. Since nitrogen is NATURALLY replenished in leguminous plants farmers do not ADD nitrogenous fertilizers in the SOIL in leguminous plants. |
