wool: this type of cloth is obtained from livestock like sheep

the sheep are feed through the summer and grow a fleece to protect them from cold in summer this fleece is removed by a PROCESS called SHEARING. this type of cloth are used to make winter wear like socks , gloves,sweaters etc

silk: these is obtained from silk worms .  the silk worms are allowed to feed on mullbery plants . they grow fat and spin a hard layer around them called cocoon then these are dropped into boiling WATER . and silk is obtained .

nylon : this is synthetic material . these are made from LONG chains of polymers these are very strong and are used to make ropes and parachutes

cotton: these are obtained from cotton plant . inside the cotton balls there are seeds. the seeds are removed and are weaved into threads these are made into CLOTHES . these are mainly used in summer as they have high absorption levels

jute : this is also known as golden fibre .it is mainly used to make baskets and bags but due to competition from synthetic fibres and high costs it is losing market
