Slant height of the cone,

\(l =\sqrt{r^2+h^2}\)

\(l =\sqrt{8^2+15^2}\)

\(l =\sqrt{64+225}\)

\(l =\sqrt{289}\)

l = 17 cm

Curved surface area of a cone,

C.S.A = πrl

C.S.A = π × 8 × 17

C.S.A = 136 π cm2

Hence, the Curved surface area of a cone is  136 π cm2.
