Thus, the potential across the capacitors will be 2V. Energy stored in 5μF capacitor is U5 = 1/2 × 5 × 22 = 10J Energy stored in 4μF capacitor is U4 = 1/2 × 4 × 22 = 8J Thus, U5/U4 = 10/8 = 5/4 |
