Chromoplast is the nongreen PLASTID which imparts colour and found in some cells of more complex plants. It gives different COLOURS to the plants except green e.g, fruits, ROOTS, FLOWERS. Due to the PRESENCE of carotenoid pigments, they are orange, yellow or red in colour.
