Simple Aggregative Index number p₀₁ = \(\frac{∑p_1}{∑p_0}\) × 1000

Here P₀ – Price in in 1990

P₁– Price in 2000

Σ p₀ = 70, Σ p₁ = 76, p₀₁

= \(\frac{76}{70}\) × 100

= 108.57.
