Answer» (i) Lohagarh Fort (Bharatpur)- This fort was constructed by Maharaj Surajmal in 1733. A deep trench surrounds the fort which is filled with water from the Moti Jhill. This fort is an example of a specific architectural style. (ii) Kumbhalgarh Fort (Rajsamand)- This fort is situated in Rajsamand district which is also known as The Eye of Mewar. This fort was constructed by Maharana Kumbha for the sake of his wife. (iii) Sonar Fort (Jaisalmer)- It was constructed by MaharaoJaisel. This fort was constructed only by stones. No limestones were used here. (iv) Jaigarh Fort (Jaipur)- It was constructed by Maharaj Mansingh I in 1600. Later, Mirza King SawaiJaisingh changed the structure of this fort. After the name of Jaismgh, this fort is named as Jaigarh fort. |
