Answer» The tropical rainforest is found in the equatorial region due to excessive rainfall and temperature. These are known as ‘Selvas’ in the Amazon basin. Other regions are Zaire basin, Indonesia, Malaysia, and S. Philippines. Main types of trees are ebony, mahogany, cinchona, rosewood, rubber etc.
