Answer» Metal work refers to an art form of India. The evidence of metal work during the ancient time have been found in several parts of India. The artisans of Lothal made different weapons like sickles, drills (curved saws) and needles, etc. With copper and bronze, they also used to make utensils, idols and pots. In the ancient India, arms and ammunition for wars were made up of metal. Gold and silver were used for making ornaments. Copper brass and bronze were used to make utensils and idols. Iron was used to make several instruments and weapons. |
