1.	Give a brief introduction about Morarji Desai.
Answer» Morarji Desai was a freedom fighter and a follower of Mahatma Gandhi. He was the Chief Minister of Bombay State and subsequently the Deputy Prime Minister from 1967-1969. He joined the Congress (O) after the split in the Congress. Morarji Desai became an opponent of Indira Gandhi and became the Prime Minister from 1977 to 1979 under the Janata Government. He became the first Prime Minister belonging to a non-Congress party.
