Answer» Bhutan: Bhutanese DEMOCRACY i) Democracy and elected members formed the Government ii) Interference of Monarch OCCURS sometime results inconvenience to the government. Democracy is actively supported and participation of the king. It began with legal reformations such as the uprooting of slavery, and culminating of Bhutan's Constitution. Bhutan government was democratically elected in 2011. These elections included Bhutan's first ever partisan NATIONAL Assembly election. Bhutan is an orderly place.and values liberty. Nepal: i) Democracy in Nepal is under question. ii) Literary future of democracy is uncertain. Constitution is yet to get shape. Lot of confusion and disappointment related to democracy prevails. Disillusionment about democracy GREW throughout the 1990s and, since the royal take-over in October 2002, the system of democracy is literally in a stage of coma. Argument still continues over whether it should revive or declared dead causing completely NEW beginning. The reasons for disappointment with the working of the 1990 constitution stem partly from limitations inherent in the system itself. |
