Answer» and Russia largely modernised in 20th century. it was a major period by which now we seeing this countries as super powers or nation.Russia: Russia's reason behind it's success for becoming super power is, Russian REVOLUTION. Because, under tsarist rule Russia was large land MASS with less development and poorly led force. but, after Stalin came to power, he totally REFORMED the country with his socialist policies like stalinization, redistribution of land, social equality etc. This devolpment was seen clearly seen by world, during World War II and Stalin 's planning shocked entire world by stopping such a big force like Hitler led German.Europe: Europe also DEVELOPED during early 20th century but suffered largely during great depression and World War I. it devolped during late great depression and devolped during INTER War period. |
