Answer»

Answer:

Amphibians are animals that can crawl on land, BREATH air mostly through lungs, although, most have partial respiration through their skin as well, but still are tied to the water, at least, to REPRODUCE, needing the moisture to coat their eggs until they HATCH into their tadpoles.

Reptiles were the FIRST true land animals, developing the shelled egg. This way the pond could be kept anywhere. Reptiles all have lungs, keratinous body covering (like our hair and fingernails) to protect from moisture loss. And sexual reproduction. Most of their amphibian ancestors fertilized eggs as or after the female laid them.

Amphibians= Frogs, toads, salamanders, newts

Reptiles== Turtles, Tortoises, Crocodilians, Lizards, SNAKES, Tuatara
