1.	Give two reason for the variation of G at equator and the other pole one marke
Answer» u MEAN 'g' because 'G' is fixed but acceleration due to gravity changes at pole and equator because:The earth is not a perfect sphere thus the DISTANCE from centre to SURFACE is more at equator than at POLES.(Earth is like an orange, pressed at poles) so, g changes at g=GM/R2 and R is more on equator than on pole.This is the reason I learnt last year.Hope it HELPS, it can be accepted for a one marker :)
