| Answer» 1000 million years ago there was a single mass of land pangea. The land was divided into two parts called Gondwana and Angara land by Tethys sea. The plates got further divided into more plates. The two of them were Eurasian and Indo- Australian plate. These two plates collided with e ach other. The collision was convergent and the sediments of Tethys sea got deposit.this led to formation of himalyas | |
