Shikshak of the year – is conducted to recognize and thank school teachers, principals, online educators, and independent tutors in INDIA for their continuous efforts to ensure learning in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic. It is a uniquely heartfelt honor for teachers as the nominations are submitted by the students themselves.

The competition organized by Brainly was born out of gratitude for exceptional educators who helped us develop and gain knowledge. It is a unique undertaking because the nominees are submitted by the students themselves. The contest has been organized since 2017.

PRIZES:

The award recognition will BRING our winners some much-deserved assistance to CONTINUE pursuing greatness for their students, particularly through online learning.  The winners will each receive INR 75K award and INR 35K will be awarded to each student winner for best nomination. The awards will be dedicated SPECIFICALLY towards teaching equipment and/or platforms needed to enhance online teaching/learning experience. In addition, to the winning teacher/principal that is tied directly to a school, we will donate INR 375K to the school to enhance their equipment for online teaching.
