The information acquired at the dendrites of the neuron sets off a chemical reaction that helps to create an electric impulse. This impulse travels from the cyton to a one and reaches the nerve endings. At the nerve endings, the electrical impulse sets off chemical reactions to release certain chemicals which travel through the synapse and reach the dendrite of next neuron. Similarly this cycle goes on. |
