ESTABLISHED in 1336 by Harihara I and Bukka Raya I, who belonged to the Sangama dynasty, the kingdom of Vijayanagar quickly developed and grew into a powerful and prosperous kingdom. The Muslim rulers constantly attacked Vijayanagar and it fell to these INVADERS between 1614 and 1643. |
