How are involuntary actions and reflex actions different from each other |
|
Answer» Answer: One is a process that occurs continuously- Involuntary. Reflex actions only occur in response to some stimuli. Explanation: An EXAMPLE of an involuntary ACTION is the beating of the heart. It happens no MATTER what (Assuming the person is in good health) and occurs continuously. A reflex action on the other hand, is SOMETHING that occurs in response to a stimuli. For example, when we TOUCH a hot object with our hands we immediately withdraw our hand, and perhaps say ouch or oww. (A light hearted joke :P ) |
