How are ob concepts addressed in management functions roles and skills? |
|
Answer» Organizational BEHAVIOR is the understanding of how people think, act, function in groups and is usually thought of in the management field because management has to deal with leading or controlling these people. If the management has GOOD skills when it comes to DEALING with situations in the most appropriate way, considering the out comes with his or her organizational behavior understanding, he or she will be able to lead more effectively. I personally don't think organizational behavior is something that you can just learn. It also deals with the communication skills of the management. People either are or are not people person friendly. If you cannot TALK or deal with people, then you will have a hard time communicating your ideals to your EMPLOYEES. If you are good at communicating and you have a strong sense of the organizational behavior of your workers, you as the manager should be able to lead them much better. |
