Answer» Aristotle is kwon as FATHER OF BIOLOGY .He was the first who classified the living organisms and he classified it into two groups i.e. plants and animalsaccording to their habitat .Further he sub-divided the animal kingdom as air, water, land and plant kingdom as small,medium, large.But his clasaification system is not good but then also his classification system was followed upto 2000 years until it was replaced by Carolus Linnaeus in 1700s
