The treatment is done in four stages:

(a) In first stage, physical impurities are removed by conventional sedimentation, filtering and chlorine treatment.

(b) Then the biologist, developed a series of six connected marshes over 50 hectares of marshland.

(c) Later on, appropriate plants, algae, fungi and bacteria were seeded into this area. This organisms helped in neutralizing, absorbing, and assimilating the pollutants.

(d) When the water flows through there marshes, it gets purified naturally.
