Answer» Though Jagirdar Kunwar singh of Jagdishpur was 70 years of age he fought bravely against the British. He v even chopped off the arm which had been shot during battle. Kunwar singh attained martyrdom due to the grievous injuries he sustained in the battle in April, 1858.
