In contrast, because of being printed, novels were widely read and became popular very quickly Novels created an altogether different worlds and characters which lured the people. The worlds created by novels were ABSORBING and believable. People got LOST in plot and sub-plots of the novels. Readers were so much engrossed in reading novels that they felt themselves to be TRANSPORTED to ANOTHER person’s WORLD and began to experience life as felt by the characters. 3.
