When all the disappointed suitors were crying loudly against the success of Sindhu in ‘Swayamvar”, he explained them in firm and calm voice that it was the triumph of faith, love and patience. Actually, Sindhu had full faith in the old woman’s promise that the three dancing goats would bring good fortune to him and his family. The words of the old woman echoed in his mind even at the time of ‘Swayamvar’, which gave him confidence and he revealed the truth in the crowd of the royal suitors and won the hand of the girl.
