1.

How do the electrical conductivity and resistivity and resistivity of the following classes of materials vary with temperature ? Semiconductors, metallic conductors, superconductors.

Answer»

SOLUTION :With increase of temperature, electrical CONDUCTIVITY of semiconductors INCREASES, that of metallic conductors and superconductors DECREASES. Electrical resistivity , being the reciprocal of conductivity, has the OPPOSITE behaviour.
