1.

How do the electrical conductivity and resistivity of the following classes of materials vary with temperature ? Semiconductors, metallic conductors, superconductors.

Answer»

SOLUTION :With increase of temperature, electrical conductivity of semiconductors INCREASES , that of metallic CONDUCTORS and superconductors DECREASES. Electrical RESISTIVITY , being the reciprocal of conductivity , has the opposite behaviour.
