Answer» The presence of poisonous gases in atmosphere have an adverse effect on human health. In poisonous gases, the main are: Sulphur dioxide, carbon monoxide, different nitrogen oxides, chloroflourocarbon and formaldyihide. This causes death of several people. Carbon monooxide mixes in blood and destroys hemoglobin and forms toxic carboxy hemoglobin which causes several diseases ‘clarion causes’ swelling in eye, nose and throat. Lead causes cancer. Radioactive particles cause cancer. Dust and magnetic particles cause respiratory illness. |
