Answer» EMBRYO derives its nourishment from the mother's BLOOD through the PLACENTA. Placenta CONTAINS villi on the side of the embryo and blood vessels SURROUNDING villi on the side of the mother. Oxygen and glucose pa ss from the mother to the embryo through the placenta. |
