Answer» The Gulf-stream is the most important warm current of the world. Its width is 400 km approximately. The speed of its water is 5 km/hr. Near Newfoundland it meets labrador cold streams. As a result, there is dense fog condition. Here, the fish are also found in excess quantities. After this, it moves towards Europe. Because of its impact the winter in North-West Europe is not so cold. |
