Answer» The poet brings out the agony and desperation pf the female crane by describing her desperate action and grief – stricken cries. The female bird flies in circle crying desperately. After the hunters leave the scene, she returns to the scene of death and kisses the few feathers left behind after the hunters had carried the male bird away. In her desperation she searches for signs of life in the blood – stained feathers. Her grief is so great that it’s as if nature took pity on her and carried her to her dead mate.
