1.	How does the time of a place depend on its longitude?
Answer» Longitude is the EAST/WEST measurement (or location) of a place. The Earth's counter-clockwise SPIN (looking down on the NORTH Pole) causes locations to the east of a place to START a day sooner (the sun rises earlier than the place) while locations to the west of the place start their day later - so time to the east is later and time to the west is earlier.
