1.

How is 2 mole NaOH and 2 Molar NaOH different?

Answer»

2 mole NaOH

1 mole of NaOH = 40g of NaOH = 6.023 × 1023 molecules.

2 mole of NaOH 2 × 40g = 80g of NaOH

= 2 × 6.023 × 1023 molecules.

2 molar NaOH

1 molar NaOH = 40 g of NaOH in 1000 ml of water

2 molar NaOH = 80 g of NaOH in 100 ml of water

= 2 moles of NaOH dissolved in 1000 ml of its solution.
