How is Saprophytic nutrition different from nutrition in human beings |
|
Answer» Saprophytes are a group of organisms that include fungi, bacteria, and molds. These are different from autotrophs that are able to use photosynthesis in which they acquire their carbon source from the air (carbon dioxide) and converted to sugars. Saprophytic nutrition refers to the MODE of nutrient acquisition by a group of organisms. These organisms obtain their nutrients by ABSORBING them directly from dead organisms (decaying organic matter). These species can include bacteria, molds, and fungus and use digestive enzymes to directly digest the dead organism. They are essentially digesting the animal outside their bodies before they get the nutrients needed. PLEASE MARK AS BRAINLIEST........ PLEASE THANKS MY ANSWER.... |
