The three from UP are — Mohammed Ishrat Ali, head teacher in a primary school, Rajwana in Mainpuri; Snehil Pandey, head teacher in a primary school Soharamau, Nawabganj in Unnao; and Vikas Kumar, principal, SD Inter College Meerapur, in Muzaffarnagar Union Education Ministry inferred the National Award to Teachers as a way of recognizing their achievements in the field of education. The awards were conferred by President Ram Nath Kovind on the occasion of Teacher's Day on September 5, 2020. 47 teachers have been selected by the government for 'National Awards to Teachers 2020.
