Answer» Tipu Sultan has fought four wars against the British. The series of these wars are KNOWN as Anglo-Mysore wars. In the FIRST WAR, Hyder Ali captured the whole of Madras by gaining success against the British. In the second war Tipu defeated Baillie at the battle of Pollilur. In the third war, Tipu INVADED the whole Travancore. Tipu Sultan died in the FOURTH war. |
