The FRENCH society was divided into three estates : 1st estate or celergy ,2 nd estate or nobility and the third estate or big business man ,small peasants etc .The members of the first TWO estates enjoyed the greater RIGHTS such as exemption from paying taxes to the state and the nobels also enjoyed feudal privilege s .The unit of currency was livers .TITHE and taille were the two types of taxes which were paid by the members of the third estateExplanation:
