(ii) Appearance of curdy white precipitate SOLUBLE in AMMONIA solution indicates the presence of chlorine.
(iii) Appearance of pale YELLOW precipitate sparingly soluble in ammonia solution indicates the presence of bromine.
(iv) Appearance of yellow precipitate insoluble in ammonia solution indicates the presence of iodine.
