Answer» (i) Overthrow: II; a fielder throws the ball and no other fielder is able to stop the throwing ball, the batsman is able to score runs or a boundary. Such runs are termed as overthrow. (ii) Duties of Leg Umpire: • To check the Run-out, • To check Stump-out, • To check Hit-wicket, • To check High bounce ball. • To check Stumped -out. (iii) Bad-Light: When light is not sufficient to play and it causes danger to player. There is low intensity of light which creates problem to batsman, as they are not able to see the coming ball properly. In this condition Umpire can declare bad-light. Then match is supposed to stop. |
