Answer» 1) In human beings implantation is the stage of pregnancy at which embryo adheres to the wall of uterus. at the stage of prenatal development the conceptus is called a blastocyst. it is by adhesion that the embryo receives oxygen and nutrients to the mother to be able to grow. 2)placenta is a disc shaped structure which is embedded in the uterine wall of human female.it contains villi on the embryos side of the tissue.it is also helpful in excretion as the waste generated by the developing embryo can be removed by passing or transferring them into mothers blood through placenta. |
