Answer» 𝑪𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒘𝒐𝒐𝒅 = ₹1830 𝑬𝒙𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏:Given:- the outer dimensions of a closed wooden box are 22 cm, 15 cm and 10 cm respectively. The thickness of the wood is 1 cm. The volume of the Wooden Box with respect to its outer dimension = (22 × 15 × 10) cm³ = 3300 cm³ From the thickness of the wood, we can get the inner dimensions of the wooden box = (22 - 2)cm × (15 - 2)cm × (10 - 2)cm = 20cm × 13cm × 8cm =>The volume corresponding to the internal dimensions of the wooden box = (20 × 13 × 8)cm³ = 2080 cm³ ∴ Volume of the wood required = (3300 - 2080) cm³ = 1220 cm³ ∴ Cost of wood = ₹(1220 × 1.50) = ₹1830. |
