I learnt from a video in YouTube about the periodic table according to which I have a doubt. I learnt that hydrogen is the lightest element, it has atomic number:1. Uranium is the heaviest element, having atomic no. :92. Hence, somehow it tells us about the heaviness of a particular element. My doubt is: Periodic table doesn't end with Uranium, it ends with an element having atomic no. :118 because that scientists have created some man made elements too. But if there is an element having atomic no.:118,is Uranium still the heaviest element? If so, why is Uranium isn't the last one in the periodic table? |
