∴ Median = 2x

According to the sum

2x = 12 ⇒ x = 6

2x = 2 × 6 = 12

4x = 4 × 6 = 24

∴ The mean of 6, 12, 24 = (6 + 12 + 24) / 3 = 42 / 3 = 14
