Answer» When one gland is absent, to compensate the loss as well as the other gland gets pressure maintains the normal body requirements. On the whole, other gland also gets a bit enlarged. Considering that one of a pair of adrenal gland disappears completely. If one adrenal gland is removed, the other one gets enlarged. |
