`(W)/(Q_(1)) = 1 - (Q_(2))/(Q_(1))` or `(Q_(2))/(Q_(1)) = 1 - (W)/(Q_(1))`
As `Q_(1) = 3W` (given) `:. (Q_(2))/(Q_(1)) = 1 - (W)/(3W) = 1 - (1)/(3) = (2)/(3)`
Thus the fraction of energy rejected to the sink is `(2)/(3)`.
