If the vertex angle of an isosceles triangle is 50° find the other two angles.

In an isosceles triangle, the base angles are equal, Let the each base angle be ‘x’ 

∠A +∠B +∠C = 180° 

50° + x + x = 180° 

[Sum of the angles of a traingle 180°] 

50° + 2x = 180° 

2x = 180° – 50° 

2x = 130° 

x = \(\frac{130^o}{2}\)

 x = 65° 

∴The other two angles are equal to 65° & 65°
