Here, y = tan^-1(2x/(1 - x²)) = 2tan^-1 x

[∵ tan^-1(2x/(1 - x²)) = 2tan^-1 x]

Differentiating w.r.t. x, we have

dy/dx = 2(d(tan^-1 x)/dx) = 2 x (1/(1 + x²))
