1.

In a complex, there are two towers A and B. The average number of floors is 15 in both the towers. The number of houses on each floor in tower A and tower B  is half the number of floors in tower A. Number of floors in tower A and B is in the ratio 2 : 1. Find the number of floor in each tower and total houses in a complex.1. 20, 10 and 3002. 2, 7 and 703. 10, 10 and 504. 16, 18 and 1205. 5, 15 and 80

Answer» Correct Answer - Option 1 : 20, 10 and 300

Given:

Let the number of floors are 2x and x

(2x + x)/2 = 15

X = 10

number of floors in tower A = 20

Number of floors in tower B = 10

Number of houses on each floor of tower A = (1/2) of 20

= 10

Total number of houses in tower A = 10 × 20

= 200

Number of houses on each floor of tower B = (1/2) of 20

= 10

Total number of houses in tower B = 10 × 10

= 100

Total number of houses in both the towers = 200 + 100

= 300
